For items worn regularly, such as engagement rings and wedding bands, there are some ways you can keep things sparkling, but for any in-depth cleaning, delicate steps are taken to preserve the integrity and value of your piece. We recommend that you have your diamond jewellery professionally cleaned once a year to keep it at its best. It is especially important to keep in mind that Avila Vara designs typically feature very large diamonds, and though our pieces are meticulously handcrafted and are of the highest quality, diamonds, gold and platinum are not impervious to wear and tear.

Fine diamond jewellery, and rings in particular, must be worn with care. Please refrain from any strenuous physical activities and gardening whilst wearing an Avila Vara ring, and remove your ring while engaging in household chores that invovle chemicals (like bleach or strong cleaning solutions). You should remove your rings whilst washing dishes, or wear rubber gloves.
